AHEPA District #26 Family Continues the Tradition and Awards $6,000.00 in Scholarships

The AHEPA District #26 family gathered with friends and continued the tradition of recognizing deserving students at the twenty-third Annual AHEPA District #26 Family Christmas Dinner and Scholarship Presentation. The AHEPA District #26 officers would like to thank the many contributors who make this event possible.

We would like to thank the many financial contributors who enable the Daughters of Penelope to provide a scholarship as well as the AHEPA District to provide two scholarships. In particular we would like to thank the Bonnis Family who generously contribute The Gus Bonnis Memorial Scholarship; the Daroukakis family who contribute The Eleni and Yiannis Daroukakis Memorial Scholarship and the Mesotopitis family who contribute The Mesotopitis Family Scholarships.  This year the District recognised a life time member, Mr. Peter Mouzakis, Past District Governor, for his many years of service and countless volunteer hours to the organisation and to the community at large by presenting a scholarship in his honour.

The AHEPA District #26 congratulates the following recipients: Peter Bizos, Matthew Katsionis, Andreas Pilarinos, Antonia Sidiropoulos, John Sidiropoulos and Kerrie Tsigounis. The AHEPA District #26 presented a total of over$6,000.00 in scholarships this year to these deserving recipients.
